Hi, I’m Angel.
My journey in healthcare began long before I became a nurse practitioner. I was first trained as a physician in Cuba, and I spent years caring for patients in communities across Cuba, Venezuela, and Jamaica. Many of those settings required resourcefulness, compassion, and genuine human connection just as much as clinical skill. Those early experiences shaped my belief that great care starts with listening, educating, and meeting people exactly where they are.
When I moved to the United States, I continued my path in nursing and advanced practice, building a career that has taken me through family medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, hospice admissions, and more than 75 clinical research trials. That blend of bedside care and scientific rigor gave me a unique perspective: I understand both the human side of medicine and the importance of safe, evidence‑based treatment.
Patients often describe me as warm, approachable, and deeply committed to their well‑being. I take time to explain, to reassure, and to empower people to understand their health—not just follow instructions. Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to connect with diverse patients and families, creating a space where questions are welcomed and care feels personal.
Today, I bring all of that experience into a modern telehealth setting, offering accessible, high‑quality care rooted in integrity, safety, and genuine compassion. My mission is simple: to help every patient feel informed, supported, and confident on their health journey.
